President
Soma has been elected to the position of Joint Secretary of the Association for the past five years.
In the past several years he was actively involved with community based Tamil Language Schools, which promote Tamil as second language for Higher School Certificate (HSC) exams. Soma was a past President and Secretary of Tamil Study Centre -Homebush. He is the current Secretary of the Sydney Tamil Resource Centre, which operates a Resource Centre at Strathfield with collection of books, articles and newspapers.
Soma is a Chartered Professional Engineer and currently holds a position of Traffic Engineer a Council.

He has been involved in managing and arranging many humanitarian projects in North and East of Sri Lanka. He held a number of leadership rolls within various community organizations in Australia. He has been ETA's president for the past three years and he is also the President of Tamil Muzzhakkam Tamil community radio.
Ela is the Communication and Liaison Officer for Australasian Federation of Tamil Association (AFTA), which is an umbrella organization of all Tamil Associations in Australia and New Zealand.
Ela is a lecturer in accounting and finance with a NSW Secondary
Institution. He was a past president of Saiva Manram Inc, which manages Sydney
Murugan temple.
Mr. Mohan Kumar B.E Hons (London)

Mohan is a long-standing member of the Association. He has continuously held various positions in the Executive committee for the last 18 years. He is currently holding the position of Communication Secretary of the Australasian Federation of Tamil Associations (AFTA).
Mohan is the official NSW representative for TEEDOR, which is a forefront organization in Tamil Eelam promoting the economic development in Tamil Eelam. Though it is not currently actively functioning in Australia it plays a vital role in Tamil Eelam and he believes the time has come for it to take active role in Australia too.
He is currently working as Senior Project Manager.

Easan has been elected as Vice President for Rehabilitation for the past 2 years. He has been involved in a number of community projects and community organizations.
Easan has served with the Australian Army Reserves as an Officer. He holds a B.App.Sci (Computing) degree from UNE and currently studying MBT at UNSW. He is currently working as Business Analyst for Australia's largest food manufacturing company.

Praba was initially elected to the Executive committee in 1992 and he has held the positions of Joint Secretary and Vice President. He represented ETA on immigration matters and ETA position papers submitted to the DIMA in 1995 enabled Sri Lankans to be included in the 215 visa category. Praba has been maintaining and updating ETA Telephone News Hotline for the past nine years.
He was a founding member of Sydney University Tamil Society (SUTS) and "Tamil Muzakkam" Community Radio. Currently he is the Program Co-ordinator for this radio.
Praba holds BSE, MSE and MBA degrees and currently works as Product Manager for one of the major Telecommunication companies.
